How to make roasted chickpeas.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp Herbamare (or to taste)
- Pepper, freshly ground (to taste)
- Preheat oven to 425 F.
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Pat them dry with a towel or paper towel.
- Add chickpeas, oil, salt, garlic powder, Herbamare, and pepper to a baking sheet.
- Mix the chickpeas together so that they are well coated with oil.
- Bake at 425 F for 25 minutes or until they reach your preferred level of crispiness. Stir the chickpeas around a few times during cooking and add additional sprinkles of salt (to taste) if needed.
- Serve warm or cold as a snack, on salads, or on pasta. They can be stored in the fridge for a few days (if they even last that long!).
